2008 ICAAC Spring Tour - April 19, 2008
Saturday, April 19th, 9:30 AM. The weather forecasters had been predicting rain for the weekend,
but the day began as dry and overcast. About 15 cars from the ICAAC showed up at the Ironton
McDonald's for a tour to an Amish community near Seaman, Ohio. This is about a 75 mile drive from
Ironton on roads that pass through Southern Ohio's beautiful rolling farm country. John and Phyllis
Shafer planned this tour and did an excellent job selecting the route. Our little caravan left Ironton for
Portsmouth, Ohio via U.S Rt. 52 and then went north through Lucasville to a rest stop on U.S. Rt.
23, where we met several members of the First Capital Chevrolet Club and added them to our tour
group.
Photos from the rest area where we met the folks from the Chevy Club.
